LearnWell develops and delivers online courses as well as live educational events for executives, managers, board members, and entrepreneurs worldwide.
We have offered positions to our summer internship program since 2005 to students at Swarthmore, University of Pennsylvania, Villanova, Drexel, and St. Joe’s.
We are looking for two or three summer interns to join our team this summer.
This is a part-time position, working up to 30 hours per week. Applications are reviewed on a week-by-week basis, so if this opportunity interests you, apply now.
A stipend is provided for successful completion of the summer internship, and we fully support your earning academic credit, where applicable. Please check with an academic advisor in advance to determine your eligibility and requirements.
The application deadline is Friday, May 19th at 5pm ET and may end as soon as offers are confirmed.
NOTE: You do NOT have to live in the area to join the team. You’ll be working from your own home unless you are supporting a live event in the Philadelphia area.
Anticipated projects include:
- Online and offline marketing campaigns
- Content marketing research
- Professional development course assistance
- Podcast production and marketing
- Project management and organization
- Social media asset development
Timing and Type of Internship
The summer internship program begins in May and concludes at the end of July, with the potential to extend into August. Specifics will be discussed with each applicant in advance. In addition to the stipend for successful completion of the summer internship program, you may also be offered opportunities for continued project work.
Scheduling is flexible and project-based. The more that you demonstrate that you can do, the more opportunities you will be given.
Background Needed
The best academic preparation will come from doing well in classes that emphasize clear, effective written expression as well as developing strong problem solving skills.
The best work experience preparation for this position come from any job experience that taught you new processes and then gave you the latitude and responsibility for achieving given outcomes. Varsity athletic participation or public performance experience confers advantages such as demonstrated teamwork, communication skills, and discipline that we recognize and value.
